Dear Garin
I read your article Trivializing Genocide; and I want to be honest with you. Your analysis of who dictates foreign policy is right, but your conclusion is wrong. First we get the HR106 passed then SR106, and after that the presidents will be obliged to keep their campagn promises. Plus remember soon turkey will run out of their Threats as american troops pull out, Incirlik will loose its immediate importaance. Hopefully we won’t be stupid enough to indulge in another catastrophy with Iran.
Garin Its important for the wolrd armenians to have United states congress formally recognize Genocide no matter how its written. France and Canada are ahead of us. Great britain and Israel will follow us, and leave Turkey with no choice.
Respectfully

Garin if pursuing Congress is the wrong way to go, then perhaps you can do an article on how ineffective it’s been for AIPAC. Then again that may not sit well with the Standard.
